Fantastic Work Day!
Thank you to all the friends and neighbors who showed up with tools, energy, creativity and appetites on Saturday, September 19th. We got SO much done, ran right down our to-do list, got rid of things that have just been taking up space for TOO LONG, cleaned out spaces, gardened, etc etc.

One last note: we will be building a community altar once again this year at the Sunday of the Dead Cafe (Nov. 1st.). Last year's celebration was a tamale-filled extravaganza with the Easy Winners digging up some old time latin music for us to dance to. Please consider helping with this event, and bringing your own ofrenda to the altar.
We always need volunteers - for food and cafe shifts! It's fun!
