MWPCA CLUBHOUSE
Bioswales and rain gardens are suitable for most yards in our area and help reduce flooding, increase hydration in the land to reduce fire prone landscapes, supports native pollinators, adds beauty to your landscape, and much more!
Our very own member, Apryl Uncapher, founder of Native Water Systems and designer of the Mill Valley Library Smart Garden system, will be teaching us how to add this water-wise tool into our own yard! She will offer planning and design considerations, answer your questions, and guide us as we gain hands-on experience by building a small bioswale at the clubhouse.
Bring a bag lunch, work/garden gloves and a shovel if you have them!
It's time once again to assess your wall space, review your gift list, and head over to the MWPCA clubhouse for the annual Artists of Mt. Tam fall show—featuring accomplished visual artists who also happen to be your neighbors.
The show offers painting, drawing, fiber arts, photography, ceramics, textiles, mixed media, & woodworking—a little something for everyone. And for the budget-conscious art lover, Friday's reception will include the highly popular RAFFLE. Win actual art for the cost of a $5 ticket! (proceeds benefit the MWPCA, which benefits us all, right?)
